Supported Report Formats

PDFPolished, branded documents with KPI summaries, charts, and narrative analysis. Built with Typst. Suitable for sharing with stakeholders who don’t use ProDex directly.
Excel (.xlsx)Structured data tables for further analysis, filtering, and pivoting. Built with openpyxl.
PowerPoint (.pptx)Slide-formatted summaries for meetings and executive reviews. Built with python-pptx.
Text formats (.txt, .md, .json)Raw text outputs, only generated when explicitly requested.
Word documents (.docx) are not supported for report generation. If you need an editable document, ask for a PDF or Markdown file instead.

Creating Reports

Ask Dexter to generate a report at any time:
  • “Generate a PDF summary of the last run”
  • “Export the throughput data to Excel”
  • “Build me a deck for Monday’s review”
Dexter can also suggest generating a report after completing substantial analysis. Reports are automatically delivered and appear in both the Artifacts panel (during the conversation) and the Reports section (for permanent access).
