Overview

The Settings dialog holds your personal preferences for how ProDex behaves and looks. Settings are scoped to you — changing them doesn’t affect teammates. Open Settings from the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar. Several panels are listed on the left side of the dialog; each is covered below.

Modeler

Preferences for the simulation model canvas.
  • Grid Style — controls how the canvas grid appears behind your model. Options include grid lines, dots, or none.

Layout   Beta

Preferences for the Layout builder — controls for grid snapping, measurement units, and visual defaults when laying out physical facility spaces.

AI Assistant

Preferences for how Dexter interacts with your workspace. Navigation
  • Follow agent navigation — when enabled, the app automatically navigates to whichever page Dexter is working on so you can watch the work happen. When disabled, Dexter runs in the background and your view stays put.

Appearance

Controls the language the ProDex interface is displayed in. Choose between English and Spanish; the setting applies immediately and persists across sessions.

Account

View your account details.
  • Email — the email address associated with your account, managed by your organization’s identity provider
  • Organization — the organization your account belongs to
Account details are read-only on this page. If any of this information needs to change, contact your organization’s admin.

Admin-Only: The Team Page

If you’re an admin, you’ll see an additional Team entry above Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. That’s where you manage organization-wide configuration — enrollment, default roles, and team membership. Members don’t see the Team entry; they only see Settings.
